I haven't really done anything graphic-wise in quite some time now and i've been constantly listening to "Wishery", one of my favorites from Pogo and it's definitely got me to finally get some work done. The last couple weeks have been just...a bit strange and confusing. Anyways, in return I've created my own graphic piece as a contribution to Mr. Bertke. Thanks and enjoy :)

Fantasy Product
It's been a while since I've posted some work. I'll give you the details on what i've been working on.
Elemental Frags.
Yeah thats right, grenades that use elemental capabilities. You've got lightning grenades that shock your enemies over 1,000,000,000 volts. Grenades that incinerate your enemies and other cool stuff.
Concept idea came from a game called Borderlands. Damn awesome game and highly addictive.
I've got some other projects i'm working on as well but won't post for a while. Needa get them done! but so far we were to come up with a company name/logo and a product name/logo. Here's what i've pulled out so far..(there's 5 concepts for both product and company so that's why there's lots of links c: )

Kinetic Typography
Well here's the final version of my attempt on creating a form of Kinetic Typography using the audio from 2K's "BioShock" The video is a final for my Digital Typography class and we were assigned to create a title sequence(which I did) but I had an urge to push it over the edge a little bit :|
The video isn't that long but hell it took nearly 5 hrs just render the damn video...and it was towards the end when the title slowly disappears. Anyways here's the video, Enjoy!

Digitype Game Intro Changes
I've managed to get some rough drafts for my final project in Digital Typography class and we were to change title intros on tv shows, movies or vidoes games. Course I chose video games. :P The 3 games I chose to do were "Lead and Gold: Gangs of the Wild West", "Fallout 3", and "BioShock" Check out what I've done for them. Feedback would be great. I would provide the actual jpg files but it's over 50 images and I don't think you'd want to view every single frame :P
*NOTE* OPEN GIF IMAGES ON ANOTHER TAB TO VIEW AND JUST HIT REFRESH :)

Tributists
Lately I've been stumbling upon a few really amazing artists that sound very similar and have the same work style as Pogo
Now you're probably wondering who Pogo(fagottron) is. He's all I've been listening to ever since I heard his work on Alice It's highly recommended that you check out his work. Superb. Pogo in a nutshell; he takes small clips and sounds from Pixar films, Disney movies and pretty much any film that he grew up with, and turns them into music. This type of style of work really intrigues me, so I decided to do some more research on Youtube for artists that are similar to Pogo.
Here's a few artists I came across:
RemixLuke
dainumo
jeesh
The three lads recently collaborated and made a series based on Star Wars. If you're a Star Wars fan and enjoy the music style of Pogo, you should definitely check out their Star Wars collaboration.
I believe the fourth one is in progress of being completed. I'm excited to see that one.
Today I've discovered another artist that goes by the name of Dittofication and his work is very similar to Pogo and the three tributists. Here's one of his video's that i've been really enjoying and can't stop listening to:
I'm hoping to see more of their work in the near future. It's great to hear music that's different and based on some of my favorite films. Keep up the good work guys!

Pogo's got a logo!
Congrats to the stunning and superb artist, Pogo for his new official logo. The simplicity of it's design expresses so much. (Look closer and you'll see that it resembles a classic Walt Disney character). The Space Bunny Logo was actually hand drawn by a friend of his and he took that sketch and digitally drew it. The finalized product was then completed by Tymn Armstrong, an amazing graphics artist. His simplistic work is really intriguing. Check out the rest of his work at http://cargocollective.com/tymnarmstrong
Pogo's site has been updated as well and the download section contains tracks from 'Toyz Noize' to 'Alice', for all of us to hear and enjoy. Thanks Pogo!
