The Thrill [ Frisco FX Visuals ]

It's done. Nearly 3 months of restless nights of video editing, sacrificing the attendance of Nocturnal Wonderland :( I've finally finished my visuals for one of my favorite tracks of Porter Robinson. I wanted to create an AMV (Anime Music Video) after attending my first Anime Expo but I didn't know what song to use. After finding out that Porter Robinson was a special guest for Anamanaguchi, I already knew what song I wanted to use and from there I foresaw what style of AMV I would create. This is the final product. Please enjoy! :)

Changes and future plans

So I've decided to drop Web Development. It was a fun run but I found myself unhappy and stressed while doing it. I'll keep it as my 3rd priority on my list of skills. The only website I will be maintaining is my portfolio to keep fresh contents updated.

With that being said, my website has been updated with the content that I will be working with in the future. Which is audio visual synchronization. I have more content on video editing than my Web Development which is why I've switched back to my original choice of what I want to do with my life. Making awesome videos with music that people can enjoy. My main goal is to work with music artists that passionately create music oppose to producing music that has no meaning but earns them money.

I am currently producing 2 videos. 1 being a personal, yet displays what studio I'd like to work with in the near future. The 2nd video I'll be working on will be an AMV (Anime Music Video) and I plan to enter the AMV competition next year at Anime Expo 2016. After attending AX and viewing the finalists of the AMV competition, it really pushed me to look into creating my own so I've dedicated my time into viewing hundreds of AMV's on the Internet and figuring out what style I'd like to do.

And speaking of Anime Expo, I made a video of my time being there. It was one the greatest experience of my life and I enjoyed every bit of it! Anime Expo 2015 Video

Now that that's said, I am still Frisco FX but with a different design path. I have found myself to be an Audio Visual Artist. You can view my newly arranged content on my site at friscofx.com

eSports logo creation

It's been quite some time since I've lasted posted but my latest projects contain logo creation for an eSports company and a streamer on Twitch, many video edits for CSGO and Dota 2. You'll be able to find all my videos for CSGO/Dota 2 here https://www.youtube.com/user/SCFrisc0 Here is the final logo for Wave eSports. They are an upcoming team playing in League of Legends and Hearthstone. They will soon dive into other games, maybe even Counter-Strike: Global Offensive ;)

This other project was for a streamer. He started off with nothing but is a very talented CS player from way back when. He streams on the daily and I decided to spice up his channel and give him a better logo. You can view his twitch channel at http://www.twitch.tv/clofficial Here is the final logo I created for clOfficial.

New things to come!

Wow it's been over a year since I've posted...Well since then I've been working on other things I haven't been able to complete considering work and other procrastination. I've been lured to other music genre's which got me going deeper into the community and saw some new visuals that I want to try my take at. Those are currently WIP's since I haven't found the right track to work on, but here's a video I did for P.SUS' music 'Meet George Jetson' which was long due over a few months now....Hope you like it!

Lagging on the posts

Sorry haven't really added anything new lately. Here's some stuff that I worked on recently...

~An intro for one of 1tzp0w3r's videos. He asked for my help, so I did the honor in doing so. Footage was not mine. Producing the effects was my title. You can check out more of 1tzp0w3r's work on his YouTube Channel.

2012 Logo Rebrand

So I thought 'FrancisJamesDesign' was a bit to obscure and it just didn't roll off the tongue. Instead I wanted to recreate my name using an alias and I figure since I use Frisc0 for almost everything, why not use that in the name?

Well here's what I came up with. What do you think?

Keeping it simple and straight to the point.

Inverse and non-3D pop out

And just for fun...

Collabor8bit - A Pogo Community Project

Collabor8bit is a collaboration of many different artists from the Pogo community creating their own 8-bit music. I wanted to contribute somehow but since I can't make music, I decided to make their album cover. Here's what I came up with.
